Morning Prayer

How do you start your morning?

When your eyes open, what do you do first?

Grab your phone? Go make coffee?

Every morning when I open my eyes, I say “Thank you”

I am so thankful that God allowed me to wake up, which means I have a purpose for today. Someone needs me!

When I awake, I used to just get up and go on about my day, not really thinking much of anything, I would do my daily routine, coffee, read, hair, make up and out the door.

Over the years my routine has changed a lot.

Life happens and you realize how much more you need Jesus in your life. I have learned the no matter what the day may bring,  I have Jesus right there beside me to guide me through my day.

And you know what I have found, my day is more productive, my attitude is far better than it used to be and I have the patience with people I never have had before.

I am more peaceful and worry free. That’s right, worry free.

No, I am not rich, nor do I have a lot, however, I have learned to accept what God has blessed me with and I know what I have is a true blessing. I have learned that material things can always be replaced, but the Love I have for God and how he Loves me is a bond that can not be broken.

By starting each day talking with God, and asking him what he would like me to do for him today makes a world of difference.

Allowing God to work in your life from the start of the day, until you lay your head down at night, will open so much more for yourself and your relationship with God.

Today, before you even reach for your phone, talk with God and ask him what he would like for you to do today.

Blessings.

  1. How do I start my morning? Well, since I’m a Muslim, I had the obligation to do the first out of five prayers. Continued with another sleep in my house, especially on the weekend. While in my boarding house, I continue with my breakfast and clean the room before bath.

And I noticed you poured in religious aura on this content you wrote. What a message!

  2. I’m blessed with a Christian song lyric in my head every morning! What a beautiful way to wake-up. I then read the bible first and then prayer journal. This time is so important for me to stay connected to God and focus the rest of my day with Him in mind.

  3. I love this post and your blog. I would love to say that I start off every day with prayer! Sometimes it doesn’t happen though. I am human and I fail. But on the day when I do pray and have some devotional time, I enjoy it and am more calm and relaxed. I tell myself that nothing will happen today that God and I can’t handle together! Be blessed.

  4. Amen to that. I like it when you say every morning we have to ask Jesus what we have to do since all we do would still need Jesus to confirm and say yes or no.

I was quite upset these few days since my prayer havent got the answer yet.

And until today this is my affirmation. I wont push Him too much if He havent open His door yet, maybe He is saying No to the answer since I havent ask whether He is saying yes or no.

Thank you so much. Keep inspiring us on your Faith 😊

    1. Please remember this, God will never give you more than you can handle. Also keep in mind a “no” or and “not right now” simply means that’s God is protecting you from harm or you are not quite ready for exactly what you’re wanting. Try to focus on your blessings and what you have at the moment and nothing more. Keep praying and talking to God about what you want and he will come through for you and your hearts desire. Don’t count it out look at it as a not right now. He loves you and only wants the best for you.
